Liao replied my email quicker than I thought.

The illustrator thought me that networking e.g keeping in touch with peers from my degree course  is important.

To be honest I don't think emailing designers is my kind of thing, I feel so not be while email them. Arghh, 

Taipei Metro

I saw this beautiful illustration by Kuocheng Liao on Behance. He is a freelance illustrator from Taipei, Taiwan. I like the busyness on the illustration and the illustrator did not use black outlines on the illustration which have make the illustration looks friendly and attractive. 

Combating of gold and red are beautiful ! Why I have not think about this before ! This have urge me to experiment with foiling next week !

See through packaging with gold foil illustration look so clever and professional ! I probably will buy this illustration if it in Colours May Vary. 

Because I was soo in love with his illustration and packaging, I decided to email him.

Looking forward to see his reply. 

I went to WH Smith just for fun and this book caught my eyes as the designer have use the foil technique to make the text look bold and the cover also have star shape cut through that make the first page of the book can be seen from the front cover. It is quite interesting because I haven't seen any books cover that have a shape  cutter in the middle of front cover. 

Paperchase

I went to Paperchase yesterday and I found this luck box. I think this lunchbox is really interesting because it is not only covered by a random textured but having some illustration of animals as well as their name to educate audience.

Good illustration = illustration that convey message. Okay fair enough. But how do I design a pattern that have meaning? Hmmmm *thinkig*

It is sad because after I had a tutorial with a tutor, I stopped making pattern because most of my pattern does not have any meaning behind it because he disagree with me making pattern just for the sake of pattern that doesn't have any meaning. Well, he got the point. 

Job Vacancy.

My sister sent me this photo(above). Metrowealth is a well known film company based in Malaysia. SP I thought maybe I should try my luck because I don't know what will happen after I graduate, I thought maybe I should just apply jobs and scholarships.
