Something happened to my laptop and it came out like this but it looks attractive though. I can make patterns out of this, print it onto a piece of fabric and sew it into a skirt but the colours are too bright maybe I need to tone it down a bit.. Fancy.

Adobe Premiere Pro cc

I went to Saudi Arabia for two weeks during Easter holiday. We recorded a lot whiled we was there. Then I decided to edit the videos which took me around 4 days to edit. I actually enjoy editing video maybe because this was my first time. This was my first time used Adobe Premiere Pro cc and I self thought (well I used watch some tutorials in youtube). After I started to use it, I think this software is a bit similar to After Effects (Ae) but Premiere (Pr) is more to video editing and Ae is more to animation. 

So my first every video that I edited in Pr is 52 minutes long. Win !

My promotion pack.

Image above is my promotion pack. I used my previous artworks because I do not have time to produce some new one for PPP. I decided to create a notebook so I can book binding as I really enjoy to bind books a lot. By inserting things that I enjoy make my promotion pack more personal.

Stickers.

My stickers is A7 size. At first I did around a size of business card then I made it bigger as I cannot see the text clearly and because the size is too small, the printer cannot catch the textures of my illustrations.

Pattern for promotion pack

These are some sketches of monster for my promotion pack. Out of these monsters, I wanted to digitise around 10 monters.

 After I digitised three monsters, I realised that I do not have enough time as I wanted to print on Friday (15.6.2015) and on Thursday (14.6.2015) I only digitised 3 monsters and I got student ambassador on the afternoon and probably going to be so tired after that. Lack of time management me, I think this due to we have deadlines after deadlines and I was focusing on OUIL505 and OUIL503 too much.

After I had a long thought, I decided to use my patterns that I created on OUIL505 (click here) instead.

Internship

I applied few places for internship in Malaysia and in the UK during this summer and image above is my cover letter. I got interviews from companies in Malaysia but they wanted me to come to their studio but I replied that I wanted a Skype interview as I am in the UK but they have not replied to me ever since.

I also attached my CV to each email that I sent.

Next : Keep seeing more email so I can do an internship this summer !

OUIL505 Evaluation

Okay this is my experimentation for OUIL505. I realised that my book binding skills especially coptic stitch (images above) have improved. I still remember when I did this stitch for the first time, it took me more than 2 hours for a book to bind and it looked so bad and unprofessional. However, now it takes me not more than 30 minutes and it looks really neat and excellent. I still think my book need to be tighter though.

All you need are practice and patience.

Image Y

A relative of mine asked me to design a poster. The top left poster is her poster designed by her friend. I thought she asked me to design another version of the top poster that contain the top right poster's information, so I did (Image Y). 

Image Y will be 6x6foot big. When I showed her, she got really mad and told me that I supposed to redesign the top left poster without some certain information. This really pressured me because I spent a lot of time designing the image Y. Lastly, I decided to not to edit the poster because she did not ask me as she being so unprofessional and did not ask me nicely. 

Malaysia CreativeTech Showcase

This 15-16 June, there will be an event in London called  Malaysia CreativeTech Showcase. There will be a lot of Malaysian animation, music and gaming companies attending the showcase including myself. However, I will go to the showcase under my name. I will take some of my promotion packs and business cards to the event. I hope I can make some some friends from different companies especially animation companies. I am a bit nervous as I will go there by myself. Hopefully everything will be just fine and I will study about the companies before I reach there.

CV

I am thinking of applying an internship either in Malaysia or United Kingdom this summer. So I decided to create a simple CV so I can send to the company. This CV will not include in my promotion pack but my promotion pack will have a mini CV of mine.

Pretty shell

My textures will look amazing if I use this shell for it. I was thinking to take this shell back to Leeds, but I feel bad so I just put it back.
